If you had been using ‘<’ (comma) and ‘>’ (period) keys previously for turning clockwise and counterclockwise, these key bindings were removed for some reason. You need to use ‘R’ key to rotate objects at this moment.
So, actually, this update removed my freeze-problem. I have now been playing for two hours without any problems. I also tried to reload just to check if it was luck - but it now works perfectly. Now my contractors also does their job (had some weird problems with them earlier).
I also found out that I no longer could rotate objects with , and . , but I found the R key and problem solved
Sorry if this has been noted; I’ve been off for a while. Bug 15600, I noticed a cleaning truck parked parallel to a 757 while carrying out its turnaround service.
Did someone already report this bug ? De-Icing trucks get stuck on the de-icing pads. In the picture below, only the blue circled one is active and functioning while the 4 others are just freezed.
I can’t use the bug report tool since my save is too big.
Am playing 32.8.1, and if fast forward triple speed into the morning, the game crashes. Have done this twice. Have restarted and logged report, but not sure if that’s helpful? ACEO15625
I found this too at times. Once they run out of de-icing fluid, they seem to get stuck on the pad and not move to the depot to restock
To add, I moved to 31.8.1 as the experimental was not playable due to it continually crashing, and the same thing has happened here on normal play speed, so I guess I cant play at all until we get a fix.
For what it’s worth, am loving the latest updates!
As they wrote - Alpha 31.0 brought massive changes to the game. I expect to encounter more bugs but as we know them, the team will tackle them one by one. Eventually, we will get a stable build and enjoy the new features.
See this picture, I use Terminal Foundation demolition tool, It takes a long time (20 minutes) to use the demolition tool. It’s crazy!!!
Concrete and asphalt tiles aren’t deserialized on levels -1 and -2 when placed under terminal or taxiway foundations, as also under runways, roads, airplane stands.
I intended to report this bug earlier, but I’ve been so far playing on a modded save (worldSize, workshop), so I delayed it until I have time to do it on a ‘vanilla’ sandbox game, however it’s been already reported by somebody else (ACEO-15162). I can re-report it from within the game if needed.
The bug was present in Alpha 31 (when it was in experimental) and is still present in Alpha 32.8.1, which I’m using right now, so I’m posting about it here. It’s marked as “cannot reproduce” in the bug tracker, so I’ll attach a couple of screenshots in the post here and instructions how to reproduce it.
Ground level layout:
Level -1 was full in concrete tiles before loading the save (there are concrete service roads between parking lots under taxiway and stands):
Level -2 was full in asphalt tiles before loading the save:
Steps to reproduce:
- Build either a taxiway, terminal, runway, road, airplane stand;
- underside it on either level -1 or -2 place concrete or asphalt tiles (on my standard play I usually do it just on underground parking lots, but it can be anywhere under aforementioned structures);
- save the game;
- load the save;
- the concrete and asphalt tiles earlier placed on levels -1 and -2 under terminal, taxiways, roads, runways, airplane stands won’t exist anymore.
You should consider to do so as the report you’re linked to has the status “cannot reproduce”. Maybe they can reproduce it with your save.
Bug 15707. One-Way Taxi Nodes’ Artwork Will Overlay Vehicles.
Several vehicles appear to “go under” the red bar for the one-way taxi nodes. On the catering and cleaning vehicles it is just the cab that does this, not the back portion.
With the large refueling truck, the entire vehicle appears to go under it.
Once large planes will come out, please add more default airlines like from old contest : Concord, CrossCheck, Treeswift express
Yes please! More liveries.
Yes!, so, it was not just me
There are a couple hundred liveries available. Go to Steam Workshop and download mods.
I don’t quite agree with you.
I like OFFICIAL enhancements - especially in the ever-changing alpha - and also I favor/like those fantasy names over real ones. Modders do their stuff and sometimes you get a very good one and sometimes it crashes your game. But as long as the game is alpha, I do not want to introduce stability problems besides those the devs do
BTW: I really would like to see more community names from the contest. Having something with community footprint on it feels more satisfying than just insert a Lufthansa or what not. Feels more custom built.
Mod liveries really don’t effect stability. Modders take a template, paint it, package it. Done.
Look for mods by Modair, Dawad, Chazon10. Very stable. Can’t go wrong.
More inefficient, bizarre pathfinding. In this image (Level -1), pax are coming up the escalator from Level -2 (left arrow above blue circle), turning right (north arrow), walking up stairs (south arrow), crossing the terminal on Level 0 (green arrow) heading to the stairs (bottom most south arrow), to go to the baggage carousel (last red arrow).
Note, they all could, and should, have turned left at the top of the escalator, and exited via the security exit (blue circle).
The baggage area is unsecure; above the security exit, the area is secure.
can you show the upper level?
