Where would i be able to find this gamesetting.json?
In my appdata i only found the general gamesetting in the ACEO main folder but there is no such file in the individual saves. I have unfortunatly started my game with easy but I would like to increase it since I don’t gain any emergencies.
Is there also a way to find out if achievements are disabled for my savegame? It seems like some achievements work but other easy ones like painting a car don’t work.

It’s the GameData.json you need to edit.
Search for :
“playerDifficultySetting”:

There is nothing to be found when searching for playerdifficultysetting in gamedata.json

@Remcodd Do a case-sensitive search. I found it. Just do a search for “Difficulty” with a capital D
Here’s mine: “playerDifficultySetting”:1,

It should be there whether you have the save started in 0.35 or it is a new one started in 0.36:

Edit: I’ve managed to find it thanks. For some odd reason you can’t find it in notepad but you gotta use wordpad on the same file…

Just dropping in to let you know that we’re working on a fix for the crash and a fix for the path analyzer across zones, so deployments are halted until those are done!

RESOLVED.
Is anyone else having a problem with medium check in desks? I have 5 + 1 bag drop off with 2 manual check ins beside it. I switched from small to medium, have all baggage routes working, set all connections to baggage bay and nobody is checking in anymore. Baggage is activated with 4 stands (currently all I have 4 medium) attached to the bay, and baggage pick up attached too. Everything looks fine and pax enter the airport but do not check in anymore.

RESOLVED: My total bad. I didn’t draw the terminal 1’s area over the new check in desks. D’oh.
Everything was working before I put in medium check in desks. Yes baggage is enabled. They were just fine walking to small desks, but I removed them and put in mediums and each desk says “no flight scheduled”. The fact is that even if you don’t have baggage, those desks are supposed to be able to be used for check in. They are not checking in. I think I will bug report this but it seems to be only me that is having this prob.

After the update on flight planner payment for all fo my flight’s is 0 EUR. Also in accepted contracts there is 0EUR or flight or 0EUR per liter of JETA1. It is a known bug or am I kissing something?

It won’t work by pressing alt on the steam button it doesn’t work like that. I tried pressing alt/option on the application in finder but it doesn’t give me the window option. I think it’s a bug it needs to be added back into the game

About emergencies - I started my current airport after Alpha 35 update on easy mode. With new update I’ve been playing over 2 real hours (more than 3 in-game days) and I still had no emergency. Would it be possible to change level of difficulty? Maybe at least just for number of emergencies

@mbobo Modify “playerDifficultySetting” in GameData.json. 0 is Easy, 3 is Extreme. The parameter name is case-sensitive.

Anyone else having issues with the financial stuff?
i’m bringing in 100K+ in Profit and 80-90k in cash flow easily and my bank account is still sitting around what it was several in game days before hand. Ive never had a problem having 8 small stands slowly build up cash to grow.
Sorry if this has been discussed but 300+ posts was more than i wanted to read through.

IMHO the best part of this alpha are the contract negotiations. So much fun! I’m raking in more than 10k each from a couple of airlines after 2 negotiations, and that’s just for medium aircraft! 3 more airlines are giving me 7300+ per medium, and they all started at 6k.
