@Olof I am still having issues with passengers not showing up for some flights( All passengers) and boarding is completed without any passengers. I already reported this earlier.

Yes i have. But not any passenger is showing up at the gate.

And for question above: all pax at the airport. When check-in closes all pax are going back home.

Correct, both the new path finding system and check-in allocation system is now on the experimental branch.

@DavidMarlor, nice to hear! New week starting today which means a new round of deployments. We’ll be checking the health of Alpha 33.7-2 over the course of this day and if it seems stable enough we will roll it over on the default branch to get rid of the “stuck pax issue” once and for all.

Ahoy, first time in the big birth update,

First things I notice;

  • You can build large off-ramps on a small airstrip
  • The game slows down when building something
  • The tutorial asks you to build off-ramps while the airstrip is not build, very confusing.
  • You cannot rebind the rotate key in settings
  • The tutorial shows the medium oil depot, while asking to build the small one
  • The “build” menu overlay, does not have an “x” to close it.
  • The tutorial asks to build doors, while we do not have any airport PAX transport units yet, so, where to place the doors?
  • There is no “back” button in tutorial?
  • The tutorial asks me to connect a boarding desk to a stand, but never told me to build a stand.
  • It is still annoying we cannot pre-build taxi lane objects
  • Stands seem to be delivered in “open” stance, while we learned at the airstrip we have to open an object, very confusing if you ask me.
  • Oh, I broke the airstrip, that is a nice report! :slight_smile:
  • The tutorial asks me to sign a master contract, but the master contracts do not tell me what contracts do have small planes in them? So, I could sign Air Penguin and wait for a flight forever? ~ oh, Air Penguin has small planes now! Nice.
  • Oh, contracters are using staff rooms! ~ that is a first since … forever!
  • The layover info panel of the information button still is hovering after using the information panel button :wink:
  • When deleting a runway, the game does not tell you why you cannot remove it, when you try that.

A lot regarding the tutorial will be updated in alpha 34 to match the upcomming progression and rating system. :slight_smile:

Is anyone else seeing weird behaviour with the parking lots?

I sometimes find that some parking lots are completely filled while the one next to it with the same connections isn’t used at all? I recently also had a savegame with 18 long-term parking completely filled and not a single car in one of my 5 short-term parkings. Anyone else experiencing this?

Airstrip not resolving. ~ can we see old bug IDs somewhere already?


  • Staff overview menu still broken, not persistent between tabs.
  • Page overlay menu in staff menu(still) over staff menu listing.
  • Fired staffers are listed for rehire.
  • Not sure yet; but it seems firing staff still breaks active tasks, so, when an staffer on an active turnaround task is fired, the task is not replaced by a new staffer.
  • Medium gates still projecting air bridge while not building it.
  • Filter in procurement menu not persistent on reopening, while still selected.
  • Dashboard not updating on a hire in staff tab, you have to reopen tab to fill sheets, a session update should be forced upon a hire.
  • An 8 day old check-in desk warning is not disappearing.
  • 19849 - Stuck PAX by opening / closing / moving security stations
  • Loan sessions still not functioning properly, offering loans on slots that are already filled.
  • Requirements list still doubling over time
  • If you want to build a Large Runway, so unlock a new area, build a Stand and other objects, you need about 3 million cash, then why are loans limited to 2 mil cash?
  • The clone tool does create bends in belts that did not exist in the original build
  • What is up with the “cant walk there” sign underground for objects that will be build anyhow?
  • Is it correct that you can build stairs down, while the welcoming floor has no terminal object as ground?

  • [ACEO-19686] - Notification now alerts if a service car left without ramp agents urging the player to construct a staff room closer to the service car stops
  • [ACEO-19704] - Auto save feature will now maintain the five most recent auto saves instead of overwriting the same save
  • [ACEO-19781] - Aircraft cabin cleaning truck now selects offloading waste depot by distance and load

Bug

  • [ACEO-19388] - Fuel trailer truck can in rare instances spawn without trailer
  • [ACEO-19835] - Baggage spawns outside body aircraft for narrow body end aircraft when offloading belt loader truck
  • [ACEO-19841] - Text needlessly updating in some management panels after first time panel loading

If all looks well tomorrow it’ll go on default as soon as possible.

Wasn’t this already in Alpha 33.7-2?

Can there be in the future an option in settings to switch autosaving to the previous way of doing it at the beginning of game hour? While autosaving every 5 minutes real time and having 5 copies is useful while making time consuming changes and having a way to return 25 minutes back when you made a huge mistake then and before making changes you didn’t think of saving manually, I had been often making a copy of a midnight autosave every game day, instead of remembering to catch the exact moment at 23:59 to pause and make a manual save then. I’m missing that moment very often and the period when autosaving was done at full game hour was very useful for me. I like to have an every start of day save to have an option to return to a few game days back.

On a related note, can there be also an option to start paused? I literally always wait with the spacebar readied to be pressed right after the game finishes loading. :laughing:
