Hi, i noticed that some planes are not alligned on the stand as we can see in the picture above. I already read it somewhere but I do not know if thatās what itās meant to be ? IĀ“ve never seen it IRL. Any suggestions on this issue ?

This floor update is definitely helping to build better and bigger airport with the given space. here a little screenshot of my airport with half of the stands (42 out of 84 in total) working (too lazy to finish the rest, we really need a copy paste tool to repeat some parts of the airport)

Actually, i have no traffic jams with cars or planes. The only issue I have is the lags generated by the pax themselves and the transportation tools (bus and metro) to bring them to the airport. Currently, it is impossible for me to create large airports without having passengers stacking up in bus / metro stations (i already tried to create mega transit station, but it is useless since the amount of bus arriving at the airport remains the same whether 1000 or 10ā000 pax are waiting). Moreover, the fact that there is no terminal feature in the actual version also limits the possibility to create separate / non connected buildings since some pax try to reach unreachable bus or metro stations, even if there is one at their location.
When I only had one wing open, everything was running smooth at 60% pax simulation, but now, after I opened the new wing, iām getting huge delays departures delay due to the lag. I reduced pax simulation to 5% and now iām just waiting that the total number just drops. The delays are also partially due to the lack of ramp agent (with the new wing i have a shortage of about 250 currently).
Nonetheless, the floor update is running butter smooth, even with the lags, planes and cars are not blocked at all (due to the design, iāll drop some extra screen shots below). Iām really enjoying the game and love the development. I will drop later this week a topic about airport management tools that could be great to add in order to handle such large airport (connecting every services and tools together can be hard, especially with the floor, for instance, the check in desk is not located on the same floor as the luggage dispatch thing).
Here are picture from other floors of my airport, from +1 to -2. Keep in mind itās a concept thatās why there is no shops (too annoying to build now without any copy/paste tool) :
As you can see, I park all my vehicles at the -2 floor and have many tunnels to avoid traffic jam. For the taxi ways, i use many āway controllerā (I donāt know how to call them, you know the tool to force planes to only go in a direction, it helps to avoid a plane to be stuck for ages waiting an other plan to pass through).
and regarding the transportation issues, here is a small example :
One stop has more than 1k pax stacked while the one located just bellow only has 65 pax waiting. Also, almost no bus are arriving at the airport.
21 Cargo Bays for 42 Medium Stands! WOW!!! Thatās one CB per two Stands. I normally have one CB per eight Medium Stands.
I really like your Bus Stop layout. I have traffic jams because all my Airside Shuttle Bus Stops are in a row, not tree-splayed like yours. Iāll use your Bus Stop example to layout Airside Shuttles Takes more space, but, itās underground, so EXCELLENT!

Luckily for me I managed to launch the game while the services were in and have simply kept the game running in the background so it canāt update. Itās running very smoothly and havenāt encountered any bugs yet, just some minor suggestions which I will refrain from expressing until the new thread is out.
Why no vehicles on stands?

Actually, some stands have assigned vehicles. However, I only did that for the first 6 stands, after those, I was just too lazy to assign all type of vehicles on every stands. I usually do that but not when there is 42 stands since the control panel is not really userfriendly for this kind of task.

This was causing massive backlogs in my airport - moral of story: 2 cafes isnāt enough for 11 medium stands!
And so, Alpha 31 has been deployed on the default branch!
