I tried the latest version on the experimental branch. The freezing issue is improved, it’s not as obvious now as in the previous version. But the flights are still bugged in some ways:
Some flights do not show up at the scheduled times, the status is ‘en route’.
In the flight monitor I noticed some warnings, saying that some of my stands were occupied by other flights, but I checked and saw the stands were empty.
Everything is ok at mine. No past scheduling, no overlapping, no no-shows. And I’ve let it run for 3 days with max speed which is usually a trigger for issues
My feeling is that big lags cause such troubles which isn’t the case on all hardware. Or It needs more pax than I had.
We’ve been running extensive tests on 1.0-43 as well and everything seems to be working well. I assume that the airports that are experiencing this issues are well above 100 MB in file size?
I think the name is QUITE fitting. Also I’ve had the game crash a couple of times recently, but I’m going to throw that to the auto scheduler having a hay day in -42
I didn’t realize steam workshop was an option and probably should’ve given this like 3 weeks ago
Weird…
I flushed the schedule or Carrots airport by closing all stands and the airport, all pax left.
Then I’ve reloaded the save and started the operations, stands and auto planner again. Flights get assigned, passengers arrive and go to gates but NO plane at all lands.
/edit … plane finally arrived 11 hours too late… that was very weird
I’m having the same isssue as andyc even after flushing them out. They seem to “load” that there are pending flights in random waves that are not as consistent as previous versions.
