Very stypid AI?

So basically everytime i place a one-way exit/security thing, instead of getting the luggage (wait in the baggage claim area) they just go outside and start complaining about everything!?!

Mine do the same, i submitted a bug report on day 1 for this issue, have not heard a thing since. They clump at the exit and ignore seats and anything else until the first bag from their flight crosses into the baggage claim area, then their brains are restored.

Same here

Its that they have nothing to do. the ai says get out of the secure zone, then wait for baggage. Which is exactly what they do

Yeah, haha, they’re pretty stupid, I agree. However this fix should be pretty simple, to have them fallback to the baggage claim area instead of just piling up. The issue is that they want to wait, eat, shop or do something else while they wait for baggage and if none of that exist they stay idle instead (it’s the same with the toilet pile-up).

Working on error handling for boarding and deboarding path now, just done and should make the re-deploy of 0.21.11. Will see if this can be added too, cannot promise anything.

I mean, ive never seen an airport where you can get food in the baggage claim area.

You should travel to Copenhagen then!

@Olof Should bagage claims be in secured area’s instead of non-secure area’s? Like at Schiphol Airport if you arrive you need to go to the passport control, then you go to the bagage claim and then you will leave the security exit( Sometimes security will pick you out to control your bagage.

I always build my bagage pickup outside secure area’s and always build shops inside and outside secure area’s.

Not Olof  however I happen know that currently luggage claim should be in non-secure area. This might change in the future with international flights added.

oh, the horror of connecting 2 baggage areas between plane stands… horrible.

Done. Also fixed that they only use one boarding desk.

We have sort of prepared for this. There’s two types of baggage claim areas implemented, but only one is visible for now. I think in the future we will do so that domestic baggage claim areas are built in unsecure zones while international baggage claim areas are built in secure

Well i might build shops and restaurants in the baggage claim area, but the required space for these contracts is enormous. Can we please see some contracts ask for 100m square or so, instead of 200 or more? After playing this week I learned that it is best to conserve space where you can, and my grand plans from before are not feasible from an FPS or map size aspect.

True, shops and restaurants have redicueles sizes and I have never gotten the bonus. I see contracts if 7300 sold items, but I’m glad if I even reach 200 in 4 days. Within or outside secure zones, no difference. Also the shop is like closed on redicueles times because of the retarded staff, which you can’t hire/fire, all take a break on the same time or just go home.

Same here, 0% chance to succeed on contract, and they do love to close when all gates are full of customers, but hey, they are open overnight!

Hmm and what about countries where domestic baggage claim are still in secure zone?

I think every airport i have been through all baggae claims have been in the secured zone?

but that has all been international or internal in the UK

Normally in Big Airports, you will never know when you switch from Secure to Unsecure… There’s no board like “Secure Zone ends here” :stuck_out_tongue:
But I guess baggage bays are always in a Secure Zone… though Honk Kong has it in Unsecured (Even for international)… Most of the Indian airports have it in Unsecured with some exceptions.

I dont know bristol airport is quite clear your leaving secure zone lol
