I started with some small stands for GA, then added terminal one (in the middle), then 1A (left), 2 (Right) and then converted the stands I had for GA into small commercial ones to create Terminal 3(Left). Relocated the GA stands to the north of the airfield, these will eventually become commercial or cargo stands when the game allows.
The current project is to re-work the baggage system, which started relatively simple and now is pretty messed up! I want to make it so that the incoming bags get scanned as well before being distributed to the reclaim areas in each terminal.
I’ll take any suggestions, as long as they’re constructive!
There’s currently a problem with the tilt tray that sorts baggage into the two security scanner lines. It’s causing a massive backlog of bags right back onto the check-in desks which is causing delays, it’s also causing delays with bags leaving the baggage bays. It’s set to left and right, but when I set it to a destination, bags move much quicker, but only through the one scanning line. Any advice would be most useful!
Staff, not so much, but I have noticed a few delays due to not all passengers making their flight on time. I’m trying to work out where they’re going but what I think they are doing is checking in in one terminal, going through security in another, and then using one of the shops a long way from their gate. Getting their bags to the plane on time is a bigger problem at the moment.
Update: Then, I found a passenger in the baggage bay! Apparently, he can walk through walls?!
This thing is causing the biggest issue, it’s supposed to divide the baggage between two scanner setups, but it just seems to cause delays when set to anything other than To Destination
