Looks like People are boarding currently, so only thing really missing is the visual representation of the security connection. Otherwise everything seems to be working as intended.
I think that in your case, you need a wall separating your secure zone from the non secure zone. Otherwise, it is possible to enter/exit the secure zone without a secure checkpoint/exit. See below for what I mean…

Unfortunately, I don’t think that is it. I have the exact same setup on the other side of my airport, and it works perfectly (stands are connected and working properly). All zones are correct and my airport is symmetrical. I have other various zones without walls, and the zones are always respected, so I wouldn’t expect that to be the issue here?
I tested your theory by building walls between the zones, and checking zones down to the pixel… and it made no difference. I also demolished and re-created the two problematic stands, and it made no difference, they still show secure at the checkpoints, and not secure when you click on the stands.
I ended up re-loading a saved game from just after I had created the stands.
I lost a bit of work, but the security issue is fixed— the stands are working properly.
