Does the medium security checkpoint process people quicker than smaller checkpoint? If not I’m struggling to see the point in the medium as it requires loads more staff and space!

Good question, probably not atm, but for future security policy it seems to make a difference.
In the new update it’s required for 2* contracts isn’t it?

I have noticed that the medium checkpoint has a hand luggage scanner. Whether he small checkpoint does not. Perhaps that will serve a purpose later?
Probably for the security rating of your airport, to lax security and you will get bomreports i.e. what can lead to a more negative airport view and then less contracts.
