Ahh, the glorious Avro Vulcan at the end! I remember seeing the last of those do their last flyby at Bournemouth a while back! The sound of those engines is unforgettable!

Yes they are quite unique. They fly around here from time to time. I saw one at an airshow once with its bomb bay doors open, what a machine.

Last vulcan retired in 2015 i believe. To expensive to maintain flying one is still is doing only taxi runs though. There is a series of it on netflix. O was lucky to see the vulcan fly at an airshow back in 2009 and it was awsome.
