People tend to be late on my airport, yes I’m aware of the need of a bigger security check, hehe.
But why not have a moving walkway to get people to gate E84, a 20min walk!

A good idea! 
The walkways are quite good for long hallways or terminal walks.
i may be wrong but i believe these are already in game just not enabled at the moment. so as the updates roll out we should get them

Would love to see this implemented soon, there always seem to be one straggler passenger that holds up the flight as he slowly meanders down to the gate.
Would be quite useful in situations like this:
