High-/ Low-Season and contract negotiations

Especially if you have limited flights to schedule and 1 or more are once a week flights, what if it wants 3 days from now?

You are correct. 3 days. Having a 2 day contract sounds more logical then . almost a whole season

That seems reasonable for seasonal contracts etc. But what about ongoing or annual ones?

Also considering seasons are 3 in-game days, how does that work with flights that only come once a week?

Great question. A weekly flight in reality comes once every 7 months.

Quite simple. Weeks don’t exist so there are no weekly flights.

Options range from daily flights via monthly and seasonal flights to (quad/tri/bi)yearly flights.

The thing is that in the gameplay videos, it said “Weekly flight” on some contract or in other panels…

The latest flight planner has specific days as well. So weeks do indeed exist.

There are definitely days of the week. You can see it in the planning panel in the 3rd gameplay video. Some of the flights they scheduled only come in on a few days of the week.

Hmmm… I feel that flight planner is outdated. How would weeks work, if 3 days = 1 season? How many days is 1 week? Is 1 week = 1 season?

We discussed that quite a bit when the devlog first came out. Devlog 74 (thanks @daniel) .
At the moment, the consensus is that since the devs are the only people to have played the game, they would know best the timescale that works. But they also have said that changing days per season/days per year can be changed if required based on gamer feedback once released.

Yeah well put. I just reread that devlog (No.74 btw if anyone wants it) and most of the discussions we’re having here were already had. General consensus is that a season = 7 days so that the weekly scheduling still works but you have shortened seasons. However, as you said, it’s easily changeable and modified once we’ve all had a go
