Free-standing stanchion fixtures

Hello,

I propose to have in addition to the normal wall, strap posts like those for the waiting wires. It would have the same function, so we could build exactly the same structure, tile by tile.
I propose this because I try to reproduce the terminals of Paris Charles de Gaulle and the bottom, there is no brick wall in the middle of the terminal as in the photo below

For example, there could be where I drew the red lines. Which would be smaller than a brick wall and may be prettier

What are you talking about?

Have the ability to put strap posts in place of the walls. The same posts as in the waiting wires (circled in red)

To be able to do that

Not at all. I suggest that there are free-standing stanchion fixtures as a second type of wall.
Obviously, if I did not have the right word in English, it must not have been clear.
Is it clearer now?

No, it is not clearer now.

I believe @llinqs1 means this…

Yes exactly @Scottie

Yes that’s it, because as you say, a wall is big and voluminous. It all depends on the concept of your terminal but it can be nicer to have stanchions

I think it’s a good idea, usually I end up putting a long flower pot or wall which both are bulky…
…so I vote yes!

I can see the logic in this, it would be a bit clunky maybe to how you can make something very thin, appear from a “top down” view in the game. But i do like the idea of being able to draw some kind of tensator barrier that would act like a “thin wall” to direct crowds or make queues that kind of thing. Just not sure how easy it would be to show them in game.

That said, the check-in desk queue and security queue works well and is visible, maybe the issue is more about wanting to draw a queue for more facilities
