Food Franchises and Shops not working on 2nd Floor?

No one is using my second food franchises and shops on the 2nd floor of my airport. I had no issues when I had a one floor airport before I concerted to jetways and my food franchise on the first floor works fine. I tried deleting the rooms, adding different shelves, and using different contracts but nothing works. The only difference I can see between the shops that guests use and those that don’t is the floor level. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds like you tried everything, but basic stuff like making sure there isn’t a staff only zone or something similar over the store might be what is wrong. Hope I could help!

Just to clarify, when you say “2nd Floor” do you mean Floor 1 (above Floor 0) or Floor 2 (above Floor 1)?

I’ve had some issues with this too; pax wouldn’t use shops, restaurants, or restrooms on Floor 1. I bug reported it then; I’d recommend you do the same.

Yes, when I say 2nd floor, I mean Floor 1 above Floor 0. Pretty sure thats a European vs American thing.

Also interested in overview images of your airport with zones (z-key) enabled of the different floors, so we can try to help.

Can’t replicate this and haven’t really seen any other reports on this, you’ve got a number for me?

I have been having this same problem, and I can’t figure out how to fix it. No shops, bathrooms or restaurants inside the secure zone on Floor 1 are getting any visitors.

Please load your save where you’re having this problem and submit a bug report, then reply back here with the number (ACEO-XXXXX) so the devs have a reference! Thanks! :slightly_smiling_face: I think I deleted the airport where i reported this and have no idea what the ticket number was :frowning:

Thanks for the help. I submitted the bug report (not sure how to get the ticket number) but after playing for a few days (real time) the problem fixed itself without me changing anything besides signing new contracts. I think it started working after the new Steam update. Maybe that had something to do with it even though it wasn’t mentioned in the fixes.

@kinnetik, can you bug report this so we can check out the save?
