I suggest that it could be possible to attract some airline companies or improve satisfaction rating of other by being able to set counters, gates and maybe lounges for some airlines. This actually exists for large companies that may want to have specific needs.
Once an airport is known enough, airline companies may send a business offer contract where they would tell requirements, like a specific number of dedicated check in counters or other facilities. Of course, those companies would agree to pay more to be in such airport.
If you watched the video (I did ), you will know that no airlines are in it yet. I think you should wait and see if your questions get answered in the second video, because I think there WILL be airlines in it.
Edit: It looks like the second video will have airlines and more management stuff.
