A much discussed point is the path finding of aircraft from an to the gate. As I noticed the runway ahead points are a point were the aircraft go to and then check if the runway is available for take off. These points basically are a sort of checkpoint.
Maybe it is possible for the Dev’s to implement such points for taxiway crossings. We can then add these points on the taxiway nodes so that aircraft go to the crossing point and check if the leg towards the next crossing point or runway ahead point is available. Aircraft calculate the route towards the runway and remember the crossing points it needs to get there. This could help the path finding of the aircraft until a new way of path finding gets implemented.

I know that it doesnt look realistic, but would certainly help with the planning of the airport at the moment.
