Having an issue with larger planes landing on runways NOT connected to stands via taxi way. I have small stands and runways/taxiways separate from mediums stands, runways/taxiways and planes ignore the fact that the runway they are landing on is not connected.

As in the real world. You should connect everything to everything anyway. I dont think its a bug, but how an airport actually work. They could implement an ATC function where you can assign rwy to gates or something. Now we only have GA or Commercial. I use separate rwy for GA traffic (gras strip), but they are all stil connected…
I don’t want to extend EVERY runway, just the ones that I designate for the larger planes. So maybe the ATC is not broken but this is rather now a suggestion for maybe assigning gates to certain runways via the taxiway connection
