Those aren’t tail wings, they are alien space craft mimicking tail wings.

Is there a way to turn off animals? I like the idea of having animals, but so far they’ve just been a complete nuisance. My airport is completely fenced off, but animals keep spawning and stopping aircraft. Patrols don’t appear to do anything either. I would really love the ability to turn off animals with the F10 screen, thanks!

Animals only spawn at the edge of the map, so how is this possible? Or I am mistaken @Olof?

I need to say, this game is going great, and came a long way. I just opened an airport that I completely built in Beta. It has 9 small, 31 medium (3 International), and 3 large gates (all International). All runs very smoothly (meaning airport ops, there is slight lag at high-pax times, but this is my largest build yet), very little delays - I will say the few that happen appear to be bug related.

I just submitted bug 34562, and it was a plane waiting for its baggage to get loaded onto it. The baggage truck is there, but the baggage truck from the offloading baggage was still at the end of the beltloader. The stand’s status showed baggage unloading was complete, but that truck would not leave, which was holding up the baggage loading process.

Also just submitted 34563, which was baggage loading began on an aircraft, then stopped after 5 bags, which is preventing the plane from leaving. I am almost 99% positive this inbound flight was a big delay (see below).

I also had another odd bug, which I think it could have been related to loading a save. I could not report it because my bug reporting tool was frozen on a grey screen from my last bug report. But this bug was a plane on a remote stand that was showing 6 hours delay (which made me think it was related to loading a save, and I didn’t think to check). Only one passenger had left the aircraft, and the pax unloading process was frozen in a “in process” state, holding up most other processes.

Don’t know if anybody mentioned it, there is a possible way to get more money easily and I don’t think it is intended :smiley:

When you build a medium Check-In-Counter you pay 3.750 for it. But when you immediately delete it again you get the 3.750 back AND 5 more (I think for the first queue). So when you do it a few (a lot :wink: ) then you can cheat money without F9 or F10.

I found in the Gamedata.json the option: ‘AnimalsDisabled’ (C:\Users\USer\AppData\Roaming\Apoapsis Studios\Airport CEO\Saves\Airport1\GameData.json). By default it was set to ‘false’. I set it to ‘true’, but I still get the animals popping up.

Could we get a “terminal” size block, that we can drag over the map, that prioritizes all objects in that blocks, in the build queue? Maybe with a maximum of 4 blocks.

Maybe a dumb question:
Was there a change, that Jetways connect zones? I made different International-Zones for Arrival and Departure but the game tells me, this is on big Zone, creating many pathfinding errors, because the passengers want to go to the “other” zone (toilets, Passport etc.) and they can’t because there is no way…

I checked everything and there is no connection between the zones. Is this a bug or does the jetway connect them since a new update?

Bug 34597 - repeat bug I am still having, and I cannot think it is just me at this point. Every game I have that has large security checks has a bug with the checkpoints. Every reload of any game with them, and the passengers cannot proceed through the queues. I have to time when I save and quit to not want to throw my computer across the room upon reload. The passengers will go a short distance through the queues and freeze; some will eventually move one square at a time taking hours to get from the entrance of the queue to the checkpoint. The only way to remedy this is to close and reopen the checkpoint, which then allows the passengers to proceed through at a normal, walking rate.

And when you cannot get off this screen while reporting a bug is another item that makes me want to chuck my computer across the room. :rage: Cannot submit another bug. As you can see, in the upper-left of the screenshot, passengers are concentrating on just one self-serving boarding desk. This is delaying flights. @Olof… Sorry I cannot report a bug, but it will be in the bug number above.

I could be mistaken, maybe it has been fixed. However, even early on in the game before you can get a fence in place the animals are a major nuisance and they cause a few planes to get permanently stuck, requiring a reload. It would just be easier to turn them off

“Kitchen sink” changes to “Stainless steel counter” after game reload. I’ll report it later on another save created specially for it - I need to check 1st if it’s serialized or deserialized incorrectly, as also because where I observed this it wasn’t used in a food room but in staff rooms, only temporarily changed to food rooms to place other objects (at my airports staff need at least to pretend they have to eat something and they have their own kitchen corners in some of the staff rooms :wink: ).

They don’t get stuck, they stop and wait for the animal to clear the area. It’s a delay.

I experience as well that randomly planes do not continue taxiing after the animal has moved. They are just stuck until a restart.

Good evening all! We’re, as you know, working on larger overhauls including especially the weather system, but also on multiple aspects of improved rendering performance. However these things are not yet done so there’s no point in deploying tonight, we’ll most likely have an update available by the end of the weekend and then get back to daily updates as of Monday!

Sounds like a Thunderstorm messed up your code.
I’m getting very interested what the overhaul will bring after that many hours you spent in it this week. :slight_smile:
