is anyone having that problem were your workers will not work and they will just hang in the staff room. I tried hiring new staff but they still wont go to work

After 10 minutes of playing all the staff/workers stop, catering, cleaning, security, ramp, everything stops. Closed the airport and tried reopening made it even worse. Only thing is inbound passengers but lucky there’s a push back truck glitch leaving with an empty aircraft. Before this update animals on the airfield nightmare, freezes the aircraft for hours, fences and patrol don’t do anything but at least all the staff we’re working. Gone from animals crippling the airport to staff crippling the airport.

i’m also having all the same bugs @ibluegoose experiences + most Passenger service agents, and ramp agents will just rest in the staff room, either there are jobs offered or not

Also can say this issue is occuring to me. It appears to impact basically all staff, I notice a particular bottleneck with security officers after 5-10 minutes, completely breaks the game, nothing can happen

Seems like we have a common problem with Alpha 35.2-5. Save/reload doesn’t help for long. Game is unplayable. Again. I’ll await a patch. Again. Oh, an my personnel hang out in the Restrooms. Creeps. The whole bloody lot.

The job task distribution issue has been found and will be patched in the next update! :slight_smile:

I don’t see issues with the staff, but in my savegame, there are passengers hanging around on the gate where they do not belong and they don’t find a way out. ACEO-31812.

Passengers are stuck and reporting there is no avalible custome booth near them, although there is clearly one next to them. ACEO-31827.

Could it be possible to make the number of incidents set in a seperately difficult setting than the starting funds?
It’s a little annoying every other plane gets an not airworthy emergency and looks kinda dull, when 5 planes a day are not air worthy, espacially from airlines.

I think they ramped it up on the experimental branch for now to catch bugs and stuff, if I recall correctly they will turn it back down once it is on default branch, don’t take my word for it though, I could be wrong.

@zulu354: There is a workaround. Select the difficulty level you wish and ignore the funds provided. Save the game. Edit GameData.json. Search for ā€œfundsā€. Change the value to your preferred amount. Save and close. Reload the game. You can also change ā€œplayerDifficultySettingā€: 0 is Easy, 3 is Extreme.

Yes, it was cranked up to 11 to get maximum bug reports. I’m not sure the current setting.

Here’s Alpha 36.2-6 with a final fix for the various quit issues (please let us know if you’re still experiencing any) and a fix for the broken job task distribution system!

  • [ACEO-31705] - Incorrect road node settings on emergency response station and airport police station can cause vehicles to get stuck

On the upper settings they are still very high, we will reduce it a bit more before going into a default release for Alpha 36. As this version’s emergency related issues are slowly becoming more stable we’re also slowly doing some balancing, however you can very much expect that balancing to keep happening as we not only transition into the default release but also into beta.

Is there a total hangers in use reward?

You only need 1 gate and the rest of the airport is filled with hangars.

The setting to skip adjusting the timer on your airport, is a problem when the auto-planner is not auto-planning emergencies on stands that are reserved for that. We could really use an emergency stand slider in the auto-planner.


There are HTML tags visible in email-headers.


Could emergencies that are not fined, be summarized to totals and moved to the daily report?


When cancelling an airline contract, it shouts at you that there are active flights, so it cant cancel. Please make it possible to have the cancellation be a delayed action.


Could the Accepted Contracts for Airlines have a ā€œTableā€ view, so you can see the prices payed for small / medium / large flights.


When cancelling grouped flights, can an early flight please cancel all grouped flights coming after on cancellation?


Can running late alerts, get a category indicator, so that you have an idea, WHY the alert is popping up?


Can we get Fence Doors for builders, as a random interval, in long fences.


Why can the midpoint entree for medium planes on the large runway not be connected with a medium runway ramp?


Why does a shop on day 1 start with ā€œfulfilledā€ status?

It would be great to be able to set so the gates close x time before the plane is supposed to depart, would keep the game smoother.
