Cheers Rubble
Fredrik will take a look at it!
Iāve sent an in game report together with other few bugs that I found
Fueling takes too long. Almost every flight with the large birds are delayed because of fueling. This should be adjusted.
I also think the vehicles drive too slow in intersection/corners. They almost come to a complete halt before making the turn. Together with a lot of traffic we have a instant jam.
When selecting a new template or saved templet you cannot change floors to place the saved/new template on a different floor.
I feel like that is because the larger planes arenāt resigned in real life to be fueled by a tanker system. The airports they typically fly into (I believe) have fuel lines at the ramp so they use a different type of refueling truck instead of a tanker. So the game is using the same system to fill an E-170 that has a fuel capacity of 11,600 liters or an A320 with 27,000 liters to fill something like an A380 with a capacity of 323,500 liters. Stands to reason that fueling would be an issue when you are trying to fill something with 10 times the capacity. Now, I donāt know if they model the fuel capacity exactly but there probably should be some looking into whether or not the current fuel system can adequately work with large planes.
Thatās not exactly right because not all airport where heavies operates have underground fuel system. This could be a quick fix by reduceing the ammount needed by heavies or by incresing pumping speed on heavies. The medium one are perfectly ok.
Just had a two things go really weird:
- Passengers that arrive from the subway wont check in, they simply stand around for a short while then go back into the subway.
- Even though I have baggage handling enabled, planes have stopped requesting baggage handling (they previously did but all baggage handling stopped suddenly when I opened the game up)
Both reported (ACEO-22634 and ACEO-22635)
Sorry I wasnāt able to bug this when it happened, but once this happened to me. Got notified that a couple flights on 2 of my Freshly Opened stands couldnāt land because the stand was occupied. This was in the afternoon that I Opened the new stands. The performance screen (āGā key) showed there were two flights delayed by 4+ hours. When I looked at the flight planner screen (āFā key) to see what was going on, the auto planner had put 2 flights on these new stands set to land that same day in the morning. This would have been 3-4 hours before Iād even opened the new stands, so those flights got scheduled and were immediately 4 hours delayed. Iām putting this out there in case maybe the overlapping flights are coming from the auto planner sometimes scheduling flights into the past, and on already-opened stands maybe theyāre manifesting as overlaps.
Oh, I know they fly into some airports that donāt have an underground system. But those airports would likely either have different procedures (having multiple trucks on stand at the same time) or there would be a longer turnaround time because the flight operator would know fueling would take a while. Assuming the game is close to the correct amount of fuel capacity then it would take 4 full fuel tankers to fill an A380 to 50%. Even if you increase the pumping speed you will run into issues because of how the job system for vehicles is handled. Plus, we are only talking about one stand. If you have two large planes needing fuel at the same time you would need 8 to 10 tankers just for those planes to get to 50%. Reducing them could work, but by how much? 50% of their real world capacity still means you need 4 tankers to hit 100% fueling.
Iām not opposed to either of your changes, I just want to point out what the real problems (as I see it) are with how the current system is set up. There is a huge leap from medium to large in terms of service requirements but there is no corresponding leap in terms of how to deal with it. Small to medium is handled by going from fuel trucks to fuel tankers. Medium to large is just add a whole lot more tankers and hope it works out. To me (and other peopleās opinions will obviously vary) that isnāt compelling gameplay.
Non-fueling aside, is there any way we can get the check-in desks, stands, and security stations to default to closed when built? I hate that Iām trying to plan an expansion and my newly built items starts accepting GA flights or get assigned to check-ins. And can we get a way to delete a boarding desks connection to a stand if there are multiple desks assigned to it? Upgrading an active medium stand to a jetway is a pain when you have 6 days worth of flights attached to it. You can upgrade but you just end up with two boarding desks being active on different floors.
Not sure if bug or new feature. GA flights land and take off 24 hours of the day, even without researching night flights.

It has been added by developers to not make a waiting time gap for tutorial. Commercial flights are still not supposed to make night flights.
Appreciate the reply, and thank you for clarifying. I am impartial to it, seems like thatās about the way it would be IRL, so I guess thatās a plus on the realism spectrum.
Thanks again!
I reported a bug where all my shops werenāt operating. Later on I found that the rooms had all disappeared. Shops, food, restrooms and staff rooms all gone. Had to draw them out again and start new contracts. Sorry I didnāt catch the number to refer to.
Hey @Olof! Thereās no description for both the long term and short term parking sliders. Thought Iād let you know about this. Cheers!!
Hello @ilios21 make sure to report this bug to developers via in game bug report system so it will be recorded and taken care by developers
Itās been fixed!
You canāt take a picture from the overview tab thing
So much for āwe wonāt be doing daily updates this weekā⦠oh well, hereās Alpha 34.5-4 on the experimental branch with a few important fixes. The bug fix lists are however shorter as weāre focusing on Alpha 35 (Jira issues for this sprint will be planned and visible on Trello later tonight).
Release notes - Airport CEO - Version Alpha 34.5-4
Bug
- [ACEO-22433] - Allow medium flights toggle incorrectly disabled when closing settings panel on flight planner
- [ACEO-22621] - Missing validation check for pushback job tasks can cause pushback to stall
- [ACEO-22645] - Missing job task description for large aircraft ULD transfer
Staff parking is used by normal passengers and has the short term/long term box
