Airport CEO 1.1-2 released (experimental)

Hello aviators!

First off: Thank you for playing Airport CEO! It’s absolutely amazing to see this game still to this day have hundreds if not thousands of daily players building and managing small airfields to large international hubs. Today’s update is a maintenance release in response to a critical security vulnerability that was found in applications built with Unity dating back to 2017. More information about what exactly this vulnerability entails can be found here.

This release is available on the experimental branch and will remain there for a few days as we monitor the performance of the application and the implications of this engine upgrade. Here’s the very short patch notes for this update:

As you know, the development of Airport CEO has concluded and the studio is currently busy with the development of ATMOSFAR, however it is incredibly important to us that Airport CEO continues to run well and without any threat to the security and integrity of the player’s device which is why we’re bringing you this maintenance release.

Hi, I cannot save games since the update. Sent a bug report the first time it happened.

You don’t use the mod loader and code based mods?
I noticed some of my old savegames can’t be saved even before that patch.

First thought it is a problem with mods as well but…
on a clean fresh pc installation without any mod loader or so on i got error as well

We are aware of the bug and are currently working on it. We’re hoping to get the new patch out to the experimental branch this week. Fly safe!
