77 medium stands airport - operations evaluation

Airport has 77 medium stands, 17 small stands for GA and 4 runways (2 for arrivals, 2 for departures). Baggage system is fully operational (well, should be – it is disabled to keep the game playable). No shops or restaurants in this moment.

What is your evaluation? Or is that text gone when being unlisted? Very curious how the operations work at your airport.

Wow. That is an impressive feat, my friend. FYI, you can attach only four fuel tanks to each depot. (unless there’s been a change and I missed it). So, those extra tanks are useless.

FPS with running baggage system is 1 … But if I disable it, it is 5 - 7 FPS. Game is stable, no crashes experienced. Sometimes it freezes - when game time is XX:58 (and it continues with new hour at XY:00) or when I connect boarding desk with stand.

Aircrafts – good, never cause deadlock. Sometimes inefficient behaviour (giving preference to plane which is really far away during taxiing, long queue for one runway meanwhile second runway is empty).


I had troubles with runway capacity - especially during morning rush hour when all GA want to continue their journey - but since i dont accept GA flights :innocent:, it goes well.

Trucks - good, never cause deadlock. If they are not assigned to specific depot, they like to park in faraway depots, which causes long rides for every duty and sometimes it looks like highway, not airport service road.

Baggage system – ok, one baggage bay takes care of 3 or 4 stands (number of ramp agents on each side of baggage bay is the same as number of connected stands). Two baggage bays has one chain of scanners.


In this setup, I experienced only one weak spot - basic baggage scanner. It is too slow, so baggage is stuck in long queues. But it never caused a flight delay as far as I know.
And pretty please, add conveyor belts crossing ASAP. Building all of them as non-crossing was pure hell, took a lot of time and result is functional but it looks ugly.

Passengers – troublemakers, I understand why Berlin Brandenburg is still closed. Generally, I experienced some already known bugs and I agree that the game needs new UI. Or at least more specific „red notifications“ system. F.e. Passenger has problem with zones – locate – no passenger here. Passenger cannot claim baggage – locate – baggage is circling on baggage claim. So what is the issue? I really don’t know.

Passengers are dumb. Left side has its own secure area exits leading to its own baggage claim area and right side has its own dedicated exits and baggage claims. Why the heck one half of passengers from left side goes around left side secure area exits heading to right side exits. And these left side passengers after going through right side exits go back to left side to claim their baggage? (Sorry for little bit complicated description – look on picture)


Passengers are slow. My biggest issue now are flights delayed thanks to waiting for late comers. I am trying set longer break between flights at one stand, but it is not helping very much.

IMO these tanks are running normally …


(It is my attempt to deal with bigger capacity of supply truck in better contract. I think that truck comes, resupply one depot and goes back (=off the map). But in this case I dont know how to accomodate big contract with 800.000 delivery, so maybe I am wrong.)

Well, I see there HAS been a change to allow more than four Fuel Tanks. Noted. Will use in my next playthrough. Thanks.
