How is it possible to have 2 runways on 1 map axis with planes leaving in 2 directions?
Planes can leave from closed runways if the pathfinding was done on the plane already. Is that known?
Since I am using the “unavailable” room on the airport by adjusting the JSON for the first time, planes in holding to the runways are shown on the map, is this known?
Default runway length is 600 meters. You can land any aircraft on it but commercial jets will overshot it, with extension you can extend runway and add taxiway exits so they don’t look like overshoot runway and glide to the nearest holding point.
It is half gameplay half eye candy.
Is there a maximum of extending a runway?
There is not. I saw a youtuber who extended his runway from 600 meters to 2150 meters.

Game engine currently doesn’t recognize weather and active runway direction. Back in versions, activa runway may changed 3 times during the day. Now it is disabled.

Game shouldn’t allow you to close down runway when there is a planned flight. Maybe you should fill a bug report.

Activating closed areas by JSON file may cause many problems and the most known one is pathfiinding issue. But as far as I see on your picture there is no connection between 2 Cessnas and runway? Where is the taxiway and where is the holding point?
