Recurring flight are here, yay, thanks for that!
But I’m a bit confused by the contract conditions, I think they are not very clear. I have this contract for example:
It says “8 daily medium class flights”, however, I can only schedule 1 flight per day. I guess what’s actually meant is that there will be one flight daily, for 8 days? So, 8 flights in total?
And what does it mean “contract must be completed within 11 days”? 8 flights daily for 11 days? 1 flight daily for 11 days? (But what’s the 8 for then?) 1 flight daily, 8 days in a row, to be completed within the next 11 days? So I could start 3 days from now with 1 flight daily and still fulfill the contract?
Well, I’ll be able to figure it out by just trying it, but wanted to let you know that I think this is very unclear.
Yea it means whatever time slot you assign it to, it will copy to the subsequent days so that it is 8 days in a row. i wish the contracts had more than just 1 flight, not really what a lot of us envisioned when we heard about recurring contracts.
Yea a start for sure. I think many were expecting a contract from the airline that wanted say 3 or more daily flights that last a week or 2, maybe longer, or a weekly flight that lasts a month, etc. At least the framework is in place. If your airport has more than a few stands, this is barely a drop in the bucket. My airport still has only been offered a single recurring contract, so its basically no change for me. Others say it is hard to manage with all of them piling up on the left side. After they are confirmed the probably should vanish from the left side unless you cancel then they could reappear.
I reported it as a bug actually, because I was thinking exactly the same - when I sign 5 daily flights, I will get 5 flights per day… but I did not notice my misunderstanding and that’s why it was a “bug” for me…
