In my view, having to reconfigure to adapt the airport to challenges such as buying a new land parcel, is a fundamental part of the game. Real airports do this all the time, whether it is remodeling, buying new land and installing runways, or see what needs improvement using all the in game tools and dashboards.
I think the main function of the game (for me at least) is to continue to grow, adapt and expand to make your airport more efficient.
Always remember that ACEO is not a static game, things are changing constantly, and your ability to make your airport dynamic, is kinda how you ‘win’ the game.
Of course, all of this is just my opinion.
