Is there a way to designate an elevator or escalator as staff use only?
The only thing I can think of is to just build a door out2 squares in front of it and then make it an employee only zone.
Can I just zone the entire elevator as employee only and then no passengers will use it?

Everything marked in a staff zone is staff only. There is no separate settings for that (except for toilets and security check).
