Airport CEO Alpha 34 released (The R&D Update)

Hi Olof I’m still having issues with no medium aircrtaft spawning if i only have large stands. Medium flights arent even offered if the large stands allow them or not. ACEO - 22678 It did work a few version back though.

This has not yet been fixed, it will be dealt with tomorrow and hopefully pushed in an experimental update tomorrow afternoon.

There are multiple small issues that I’m sure will be fixed, like very high RAM usage, performace drop on big airports, planes pathfinding, pax pathfinding, remote stands opening boarding too late causing delay, refuel on heavies being to slow, overcrowd on busses and taxies pickup/drop spots even with a high number of them and many more small issues, as I said, the game developed amazing and it is on the right way but still some things have to be done on the road to perfection.

@Olof can you guys please increase the minimum flight separation in auto planner from 120min now to maybe 180-240 min?

Janitors wont enter secure zone to perform job task. Check points are selected for both staff and employees.

I have a similar problem but with ramp agents. They stand right outside the security checkpoint, when everyone else can go through, ( I even have a staff checkpoint) but they are filling my Notification Center because they can’t “find a viable security checkpoint.”

We’re rending the week of non-daily releases with another daily release, Alpha 34.6-0 on the experimental branch! This version is intended for the default release and if all looks good that should happen during the weekend.

Deploying a hotfix in response to ACEO-22777 as there’s an issue with planning flights. Same version number! :slight_smile:

Is this a hotfix for the problem that the game suddenly does not allow me to schedule flights due to “no connection to large runway” - while I have a very small airport with only small and medium runway and stands, that worked perfectly until ten minutes ago?

Yes, close the game and restart Steam and the update should download.

I’m not convinced yet this update is making the game better.
As it the scores are flipping up and down each second…
Furthermore see the screenshot… although a decent airline rating, in the scheduler all airlines keep on 0% ???
Furthermore scheduling flights is a nightmare. Although enough space on the planner it seems impossible to pick and move more then 1 flight to the scheduler…

I would like to relocate my fuel depot. therefore I have build a new one on the new location. Now I would like to let my trucks first use the old depot and empty the remaining fuel still avaible in it, before I open the new one. But how do I prevent the depot to be filled up again?
